Hey everyone, what’s going on? My name’s Tate.
I’m a tattoo artist based in Florida, and I’ve pretty much been obsessed with tattoos for as long as I can remember. What started as sketching, messing with art, and being drawn to anything creative turned into a full-time career that I genuinely love.
When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually at home with my girlfriend (the love of my life, obviously) and our little chaos crew of animals. We’ve got a feisty little goldendoodle, a rescue mutt named Cooper that we found on the side of the road, and a Great Dane named Moose who thinks he’s a lap dog. And because apparently I wasn’t done turning the house into a zoo, we also have Polly the green cheek conure and Kuzco the veiled chameleon.
Outside of tattooing, I’m big into music, I play pretty much anything I can get my hands on and spent years in a band. I’m also outdoors as much as I can be; fishing, camping, hiking, you name it.
Why do I love being tattoo artist? Because its never just a tattoo. It’s art, it’s connection, and it’s trust. Every piece I do is built with intention and collaboration. I don’t just want to tattoo something on you. I want it to make sense for you, your body, and your story.
At the end of the day, I’m just grateful I get to do this every day. Meet cool people, make cool art, and keep learning along the way.
THE GentleINK METHOD
The Gentle Ink Method is a client-focused approach designed to make tattooing more comfortable through sensory accommodations. This can include a calmer environment, sensory accommodations, planned breaks, and adjustments based on individual sensitivity. The goal is to reduce overwhelm and help you feel relaxed and in control throughout your session.
If accommodations are requested ahead of time, everything is prepared before you arrive so your experience is fully set up for your comfort.
